dividing a rectangle
- Hello,
Basically, I want to divide a rectangle in to two parts, so I can create animation later on. I manually added anchor points to my rectangle, I want it exactly like this, just have to divide it in to two parts/layers. See the picture for more information.

- Easy-peasy ...1 - drag out rectangle and define fills, strokes and so forth ...2 - draw out dividing line3 - select both objects (rectangle and dividing line)4 - open up layers panel to ensure line is above rectangle5 - with both objects selected and suitably ordered select Object > Path Operations > Divide6 - confirm division in layers panel
