Expression Studio 2.0 installation
- I downloaded Expression Studio 2.0 today and when installing it, it comes up with an error saying that " Encoder 2 could not be installed because there was fatal error. I have tried running it again and again but no luck. I have also tried redownloading it, but that doen't work either.
Anyone got any ideas because it is really annoying me?
BTW I am running the installation again without installing Encoder.
I'll let you know what happens.

- I downloaded Expression Studio again from a different computer and it worked. It seems like it may have corrupted on download each time.

- Try doing a custom installation and uncheck encoder and try to install the rest of the suite that way.
- Chad Adams Thanks for the reply. Like I mentioned before I was going to try installing it again without Encoder, however that didn't work. So I downloaded at my college and it installed at home straight away with no problems.
The only problem I had was trying to run Media, but that was sorted up with an update.
Thanks again.I have the same problem.
I was able to install Expression Studio 2, but when I started any one of the programs, I was given a error message about licensing, then I uninstalled the product, but when I tried to install the installation didn't finished, had a fatal error, after looking at the log file I found:
1: InstallLicenses: ERROR: Failed to initialize SLDL. HRESULT: C004D301
1: InstallLicenses: ERROR: Failed to close SLDL. HRESULT: 80070057
again license error.
Criley002 I already have those features installed and didn't helped. The same problem happens when I tried to install the products individually.
