Proposed AnswerScripts Menu Not Showing - Mac 10.5

Hi, one of our machines running OS X 10.5.4 and Expression Media 1 does not show the standard Apple Scripts menu that usually lists the default scripts that come with EM. Other machines running the same install do show the scripts and they work

His application does have the scripts installed in the plugins folder. We tried deleting the application and all preferences, and reinstalling from scratch. But that didn't help.

    - Anyone know why the Scripts menu would not show up at all? Know how to fix it?

Thanks. We use the 'Copy Annotations from Head' a lot when we bring in versions of a file so we don't have to manually enter everything.

    Hi Jethro,

Can you send a screen shot of the application window to xmforum at microsoft.com? This I gotta see.

    Thanks!

    Hi Jethro,

We currently have a case open for another customer with the same problem. As soon as we have a resolution on that, I'll post that here.

    Hi Jethro,

In the other customer's case, the preferences were corrupt. Trashing the preferences fixed the issue for him.

I'd first start by dragging the Expression Media 2 Preference files from your user folder into a new folder on your desktop so they can be recreated. Close out of Expression Media 2 first. The user preferences should be located in a preferences folder within the Library folder in your user folder. So for me, my user account is JP, it get to the Expression Media 2 Preferences from JP>Library>Preferences.

Drag them to a folder on the desktop to preserve them. Now launch Expression Media 2 and see if the Scripts menu comes back for your user account.
