No warning, it just doesn't bring up the app.

I've written one of my colleagues to suggest testing the movies.

Regards,
Anita OakleyThu, 25 Jun 2009 23:38:05 Z2009-06-25T23:38:05Zhttp://social.expression.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/media/thread/f99e840f-ee9e-4f82-97e6-5bea4f80bacf#e36c6be0-b445-450a-b8bd-dfa5fcc4ee73http://social.expression.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/media/thread/f99e840f-ee9e-4f82-97e6-5bea4f80bacf#e36c6be0-b445-450a-b8bd-dfa5fcc4ee73jdnissonhttp://social.expression.microsoft.com/Profile/en-US/?user=jdnissonExpression Media 2 under Windows 7 Release CandidateI am having two problems, both having to do with video clips (avi) files:

1. In Thumbnail view, clips are very slow to respond -- about 10 seconds -- before they begin playing. When I ran the same catalog under XP on the same machine, they would play almost instantly.
2. In Media view, the video clips will not play at all.

I tried making new catalogs from scratch under Win 7 RC, but the same thing happens.

Thanks for any help you may be able to provide.

--Joel Nisson
Thu, 02 Jul 2009 02:41:10 Z2009-07-02T02:41:10Zhttp://social.expression.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/media/thread/f99e840f-ee9e-4f82-97e6-5bea4f80bacf#c8174b08-8ed7-4eb5-a04e-8a7173d4c676http://social.expression.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/media/thread/f99e840f-ee9e-4f82-97e6-5bea4f80bacf#c8174b08-8ed7-4eb5-a04e-8a7173d4c676Anita Oakleyhttp://social.expression.microsoft.com/Profile/en-US/?user=Anita%20OakleyExpression Media 2 under Windows 7 Release CandidateThanks Joel What kind of movie files are you using?
