Over-rotation with EM2When I do JPEG Rotate under View, and select -90°, it rotates 180°. When I rotate that +90° to bring it to the intended original rotation, it comes out as originally intended. It doesn't do this all the time, just most of the time. I am using EM2, Service Pack 2, v. 2.0.2 on a 17" MacBook Pro running OS 10 v 10.5.6.© 2009 Microsoft Corporation. I just did 5 in a row, with no trouble. Then I thought that maybe you were selecting several and rotating them in a batch. They rotated correctly. Then I tried to rotate them back, and they seem to be stuck in the rotated position. I rebuilt all items and closed the catalog, and I STILL can't rotate them back. I'll see if I can reproduce that and file a bug on it. I can mention the symptoms you are experiencing, too, at the same time.

Still, I'd feel better if I could reproduce exactly what you are. To the right of the version number, there is a build number in parenthesis. What's that number, please?

Regards,
Anita Oakley
Microsoft Expression Media SupportFri, 15 May 2009 17:11:30 Z2009-05-15T17:11:30Zhttp://social.expression.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/media/thread/ced4e7a7-095d-48dd-b738-a5cba3a074f6#671a143b-6c2b-445f-8bf7-05493bd574e4http://social.expression.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/media/thread/ced4e7a7-095d-48dd-b738-a5cba3a074f6#671a143b-6c2b-445f-8bf7-05493bd574e4dsearlshttp://social.expression.microsoft.com/Profile/en-US/?user=dsearlsOver-rotation with EM2The build number is (2096).

I'm not rotating as a batch, but sometimes I get the same result if I try that. I tried it again, and sure enough. On one image where I asked for 180, I got 90 degrees counter-clockwise. On another where I asked for 90 clockwise, I got 180. It was PERFECT before it was taking over by Microsoft....ashame.

If they could fix this, it might convince me to keep using it until another bug creeps in..... :/

Sat, 04 Jul 2009 00:55:28 Z2009-07-04T00:55:28Zhttp://social.expression.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/media/thread/ced4e7a7-095d-48dd-b738-a5cba3a074f6#35354235-f62f-429b-b99f-b5dfe24fdc4ehttp://social.expression.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/media/thread/ced4e7a7-095d-48dd-b738-a5cba3a074f6#35354235-f62f-429b-b99f-b5dfe24fdc4eAnita Oakleyhttp://social.expression.microsoft.com/Profile/en-US/?user=Anita%20OakleyOver-rotation with EM2I have filed this as a bug. It's in the database as a high priority for the next service pack or version. From my standpoint, that's all I can do - since I don't set the schedule for updates.

Regards,
Anita OakleyFri, 10 Jul 2009 21:21:06 Z2009-07-10T21:21:06Zhttp://social.expression.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/media/thread/ced4e7a7-095d-48dd-b738-a5cba3a074f6#6d5b0da9-ba4a-4abc-ad43-0eff05af6dd4http://social.expression.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/media/thread/ced4e7a7-095d-48dd-b738-a5cba3a074f6#6d5b0da9-ba4a-4abc-ad43-0eff05af6dd4dsearlshttp://social.expression.microsoft.com/Profile/en-US/?user=dsearlsOver-rotation with EM2Thanks, Anita.
