Can I still download ExMedia 1/Service Pack 1?
-
Wednesday, August 27, 2008 3:23 PMHello:
I am a very satisfied user of Expression Media (coming from iView Media Pro) and plan to upgrade to ExMedia 2 soon. But I am in the middle of a migration to a new computer (Vista 64-bit). I have just completed the transfer of more than 7000 image files and would like to load ExMedia 1 (with which I am familiar) to test out my database before purchasing ExMedia 2. Obviously, I have my product number from ExMedia 1.
How can I accomplish this? I have looked on the Microsoft web sites but haven't been able to find a way to download ExMedia 1.
Thanks for any help you can give,
Dave

Hi Dave,
Sure you can... But you are going to want to use the post-service pack rollup rather than the service pack itself:

The rollup has fixes for three pretty important bugs.

Wednesday, August 27, 2008 7:10 PMAnita,
Thank you very much. I have been away from Expression Media for a few months and your reminder not to use SP1 was very helpful since I use a Nikon D300.
OT: I recently purchased a new Vista 64-bit desktop computer and have really happy with Vista. Absolutely no complaints.
Thanks again,
Dave
