I have copied a huge collection of files from a USB connected external drive (formerly drive F: in my system) to a drive in a NAS enclosure that is mapped as a network drive (the "new" F:\) with the same letter as the previous drive, which was redesignated Z:.

When I opened the EM catalogue all the "F:" files had been redisignated as E: files. When I tried to remap them to the new F: nothing happens. However if I try to remap one file at a time it works fine. Clearly I can't go through this process one file at a time!

I have also tested importing new items into my catalogue from the new network drive so EM can and does recognize the drive. PLEASE do not tell me to rebuild the entire catalogue! This would be simply be inexcusable and untenable.

    Hi KC

Double-check the version (build) of Expression Media you are on. We did a lot of work on folder management in the latest service pack, but that was released twice - once in build 2092 and once as 2096. Make sure you are on 2096 and then try resetting the paths.
