I personally LOVE Camtasia, but I have not gotten into any features surrounding Microsoft Powerpoint. I do all of our company help videos on Camtasia and it rocks. It does a great job of creating movies, in a variety of formats (including flash), as well as setting up the web files to share them.
One tool I have downloaded and not installed is authorPoint Lite:
