QuestionInstallation problem of Expression Studio 2

    Hi Team,

I have just bought ES 2 and I have a problem during the installation. When I launch the setup, the installer UI is blank without anything inside.

I have noticed that I have a similar problem when I try to create a WPF project in Visual Studio 2008.

My OS is Win 7 64 bits.

I suspect a NET FrameWork 3.5 problem. So I have removed it from the add / remove components in the config panel, without any success.

Have you any idea to fix my issue?

    Thanks a lot,

    Franck

Hi, not an expert in this by any means,

I would try a few things to gather more information:

    1) look at the install log for any clues (start menu, run, then type in %TEMP% and search for the log file)
    2) is there any thing in the event viewer, either under application or system?
    3) you could try installing under the XP Mode virtual machine - this will install Net FW 3.5 first.

According to the Windows 7 compatibility guide Expression Studio 2 is fully compatible with x64 version.
