When I tried to install Expersion Studio 2 I get the following error:
"Microsoft Expression Setup has encountered a problem and needs to close"
I have no idea what the problem is that the installer encountered so I do'nt know what to do.
I meet the system requirements and have installed all the latest updates.
    Any suggestions?

    Cheers,
                   Hans.

Are you installing it from the DVD or have you downloaded the trial version?

Unfortunately I can only provide a similiar experience to the poster.  I tried installing using the expression studio 2 dvd.  I also tried downloading the Expression Studio 2 from the web and received the same error.  When I tried installing just Expression Blend I got a permissioning error.  I'll attempt to add the content of the error to this post.

It may also be worth mentioning I'm using WinXP in a Parallels session.  I coud install VS2008 standard without problems and I got the silverlight sdk installed without issue.

    Anyone have insight?
