Greetings,  I use Digital Rapids encoding hardware.  If I buy the Expression Encoder will it recognize my DR devices?  I want to do live H.264 encoding with Expression Encoder 3.

    Thanks,

We have not have much luck with DR cards.  What card do you have and what operating system are you using so we can make sure we test against it?   EE3 does not output H.264 in live mode but it is on the list for support in a future version.  Also, if there are any other features or functionality that we are missing please send so we can get them on the backlog.  Thanks

I downloaded the Free Trial of EE 3.  While the install runs the install window flashes or blinks rapidly.  After successful installation I open EE3 and go the Help window to find the upgrade button.  I left click on Help and start to move down the list but the list disappears.  Every time I click on a menu the drop down list won't stay put.  If I move very slowly down the list it will stay sometimes.  This issue is exclusive to EE 3.  No other programs do this.
XP Pro SP3  .NET SP 3.5   I would like to upgrade to the full version of EE 3 but there is no upgrade choice on the Help Menu.

Interesting.  Can you tell me what video card is in your machine and other specs (CPU, RAM, etc).  Do you have any other Expression apps installed that you can try to repro?   If you want to purchase the full version, you can go here:  http://store.microsoft.com/microsoft/Expression-Encoder-3/product/CE462F49/?WT.mc_id=encodersite. I will enter a bug for your expereince with the menus.  Thanks
