When you import the file you should see it indexing for the first time. Once that has finished try reimporting the file and see if that works.
Cheers
Dean.
Sat, 31 May 2008 23:18:52 Z2008-05-31T23:18:52Zhttp://social.expression.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/encoder/thread/40555728-efb8-49dc-896f-804ffcc7ba3e#af17fbd3-c491-4890-be79-b5e19174557ehttp://social.expression.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/encoder/thread/40555728-efb8-49dc-896f-804ffcc7ba3e#af17fbd3-c491-4890-be79-b5e19174557eJosh Curryhttp://social.expression.microsoft.com/Profile/en-US/?user=Josh%20CurrySource Duration time is wrongI am having the same exact problem, however re-importing the file does not seem to help. I just installed SP1 and that does not appear to help either. Is there a way to force it to re-index the file? or clear the cache?Wed, 10 Jun 2009 19:08:05 Z2009-06-10T19:08:05Zhttp://social.expression.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/encoder/thread/40555728-efb8-49dc-896f-804ffcc7ba3e#624f1214-4805-42be-9392-af9c2b0a2a91http://social.expression.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/encoder/thread/40555728-efb8-49dc-896f-804ffcc7ba3e#624f1214-4805-42be-9392-af9c2b0a2a91Dean Rowehttp://social.expression.microsoft.com/Profile/en-US/?user=Dean%20RoweSource Duration time is wrongYou can clear the cache by going into Tools…Options on the menu switch to the compatibility tab and disabling one of the filters and clicking OK. You can then go back into it again and turn it back on. This has the side effect of clearing the cache.
Hope that helps.
Regards
Dean.Wed, 10 Jun 2009 22:10:07 Z2009-06-10T22:10:07Zhttp://social.expression.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/encoder/thread/40555728-efb8-49dc-896f-804ffcc7ba3e#cdc6daa0-69de-4029-9ef3-667aa7ce53e9http://social.expression.microsoft.com/Forums/en-US/encoder/thread/40555728-efb8-49dc-896f-804ffcc7ba3e#cdc6daa0-69de-4029-9ef3-667aa7ce53e9Josh Curryhttp://social.expression.microsoft.com/Profile/en-US/?user=Josh%20CurrySource Duration time is wrongI actually found that renaming the .VOB to .MPG has taken care of about 99% of the source duration problems I was having. I have 1 more file that still as issues, but Encoder seems to think that it's longer than it really is. That is easily fixed by setting the end time manually in the Enhance -> Clip Edits section.Mon, 22 Jun 2009 13:54:29 Z2009-06-22T13:54:29Z
