Im trying to use the new feature in Blend that allows you to make a couplem items on an artboard tand thens elect them and make them into a pre defined control (slide/button..whatever) I cant however seem to find the second satge of the process. I can select my items -> right click -> Select "Make into Control". However I cannot select "Make into Part" where I can select each object I want to become a certain object ion each control (Thumb, track etc).

Im curious what I'm doing wrong, ort is that faeture just not in Blend 3 Preview yet?

    Thanks!

Are you working on a WPF or Silverlight project?

The concept of "parts" / VSM is only available for Silverlight project, and WPF if the WPF toolkit is installed.

    Thanks,

The answer above is partly correct. In Blend 3 this feature is only available in Silverlight projects and NOT for WPF projects, even if you have the WPF Toolkit installed. We plan to add more support in future versions.
